Most Egyptians that choose teaching go to faculty for x amount of years. Alot of teachers in some areas only make about $2000.00 per year in Egypt. I know currency there is pounds but just trying to give u an idea in dollar amounts. Good luck and I believe there is a high demand for English Teachers in Egypt but u should only do it to help others, not to seriously make a living there. I know several people who have to stay with family because they cannot afford to live on their own if all they have is their teaching salary to survive on. Cairo is in demand. But I also found that at the American International School in Alexandria is needing American and British English teachers as well.

Day time is warm and you can swim too. May be in the evening it's cooler but comparing to Europe or cold countries, it's a wonderful weather.
