Mix Dieting And Exercise When Trying To Lose Weight

February 14, 2009 by

Weight loss seekers often obsess about the calorie count, fat count, or carbohydrate count of their food. Sometimes the diet drugs are not always ‘the best’. Proteins are often overlooked. Weight loss diets are a perennial favorite topic for most of us. Every day there is a new one that promises you will shed pounds overnight.

While diets do work, exercise is also key. So, my suggestion is before spending money on all those diets is to talk to yourself really if you are willing to stick to a plan, and go thru it if you want to really lose 10 pounds. Exercise should be part of your diet.

Eating habits are no exception. If one engages in the activity of snacking while watching television, one reinforces that habit until finally it became a part of you. Stay away from trans fats -eating even 1 gram of trans fats per day could harm your heart. One of the few supplements I use is fish oil (that I like to call, ‘fish juice’). Effective rapid lose weight diets, require you eat slowly, appreciate the way food tastes, smells and looks. Don’t get distracted while eating.

Eating vegetables reduces your chances of heart disease, cancer, blindness and stroke later in life. So, make a concerted effort to introduce some veggies into your diet, the more the better. Eat the egg whites instead of the yolks. The best diets for high cholesterol incorporate lowfat and nonfat dairy products. Nutritious food means low carbohydrates and fat but maintain medium to high protein intake. These are low Glycemic Index foods that help to burn fat and maintain high metabolism in your body.

Have the walk going on all day long (maybe even all day and night) at the track, or any large hard surface. Have participants get pledges from teachers, parents, businesses, neighbors, etc to walk for a certain amount of time….or a flat donation. So, say the participant's neighbor, Joe, agrees to pay $0.50 for every minute the participant walks. If the participant walks for a total of 3 hours then Joe will pay $90. Or Joe can just donate $50 up front.

Like the answer above me already said…you should check with the American Cancer Society to check out their suggestions.

If you do not distill the alcohol from your fermenter properly, you can end up producing methanol instead of ethanol.

Ethanol is the alcohol in beer, wine, whiskey, vodka…etc and can be consumed. Methanol is toxic and can make you blind if you drink it.

It has nothing to do with the ingredients or cleanliness. Its has to do with improper distillation.
