I would like to share information on tinnitus in the hope that you can get it under control. If you don’t know what the word means, it actually refers to the phenomenon of somebody hearing ringing sounds that are not caused by outside sources. You hear a ringing sound that is not caused by actual external noise. It is one of those sounds which is persistent and it never stops, and it has been the most frustrating and annoying condition to live with. You will hear it, even if it’s three in the morning and want to go back to sleep. I shall demonstrate how to control tinnitus so that your life will not be affected by this ailment.
Doctors have several theories about the cause of tinnitus, but the most probable cause is due to exposure to loud noises. War veterans often suffer from this condition due to the extreme level of noise they experience.
The remedy recommended by the medical experts is to undergo surgery. Eventually they performed ear surgery on you although it may not be perfectly safe. You may possibly wake to the absence of the ringing but most don’t.
It is possible to control tinnitus by ignoring it. In actual fact our brain is conditioned to behave thus. Currently there are millions of sensations that stimulate all of the senses you have. Your brain selects which of the senses you will register, otherwise your conscious mind would be overwhelmed with input. Remedies exist which train you to unconsciously take no notice of the ringing. Only a very basic exercise can produce result with it. Concentrate on reading the newspaper and you will discover that you no longer hear any ringing. Keep doing that, and soon you will be unconsciously ignoring the tinnitus.
Tinnitus is a hearing disorder common among teenagers. Caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, food and repetitive exposure to loud music often found in nightclubs.
The data found here is for informational purposes only. No medical advice is meant. As with any condition it is best to consult a doctor when considering medical advice.

I remember when I first got tinnitus 2 years ago, the sound was overwhelming. I felt suicidal and even planned to do myself in. Now 2 years later, I barely notice it. Only when I really pay attention to it or in a really quiet room do I hear it. Hang in there
