I’m thinking about how to lose weight fast

June 15, 2009 by

I’m sure you’re wondering how come I’m suddenly thinking about how to lose weight fast. Well, the other day I had a rare opportunity to climb two flights of stairs, and it did not end well. By the time I got myself up to the top, I was perspiring profusely, coughing, my face was red, and I was in bad shape. I excused myself and went into the bathroom to splash some cool water on the back of my neck, and looked up into the mirror, and then it hit me: I need to lose weight fast.

Actually, I’m starting to feel like I’m turning into my dad. He was an enormously fat guy, with a warm sense of humor and a strong, family focused outlook on life. But man, he was fat. And lately I’m getting large too. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my pops, but I really really really would like to avoid reaching 250 pounds. Because once you reach a weight like that, there’s hardly any going back.

So I’ve reading up on how to loss weight fast. My wife is going to go on a diet with me, saying that she would also like to lose some weight, which will no doubt make it easier to stick to whatever diet program we end up with. There’s a huge amount of different ideas about weight loss out there.

I’ll keep you guys apprised of how good the weight loss program goes for us. I know weight loss will not be easy, but it’s now or never as far as I can tell, so I’ll be trying hard to understand how to lose weight fast.

It’s been a month now, and Iceland’s volcano shows no sign it will stop belching ash across Europe anytime soon — and the rolling eruptions threaten more havoc for summer travelers.
