Car & Van Wraps Can Get You Noticed

September 29, 2009 by

Car and van wrapping can be described in its basic form as the process of completely or partly covering of a vehicle with full colour imagery. Wrapping an entire car or van in self-adhesive film may appear an unusual idea, but it gives us a unique opportunity for the production of unique promotional graphics that can increase your brand visibility.

Car wraps or van wraps are a very effective way of branding your business vehicle. Potential and existing customers will see your vehicles on the road every day, so with a vinyl wrap you can make the most of that advertising space. Vehicle wrapping is also cost effective compared to press advertising and will often cost less than a full page ad in a local newspaper.

Vehicle wraps are one of the most eye-catching ways to promote your business. Wrapping allows businesses to extend their corporate branding and promotional advertising to a wider market by use of full colour images and design. The designs can be as subtle or as extravagant as you prefer.

With hundreds of people seeing your company vehicle on a daily basis, it’s very important to make an instant and lasting impression. Long or short term promotional campaigns can be accommodated by using vinyl which can be removed with the minimum fuss, leaving a perfect paint finish behind. The wrap protects the vehicle’s paintwork against stone chips, minor scratches and fading.

Vehicle wrapping is an art form and needs to be professionally installed. When looking to get your vehicle wrapped you should search for a company with certified installers. This will ensure that the latest techniques and vinyls are used and that your car or van looks great for a long time in the future.

If you want to make a cool table with bottle caps—or anything small and interesting—encased forever under a layer of resin, check out this table-building tutorial. Over at Instructables, user americangypsy has built a pretty sweet table with a clear and hard surface made of resin. The point of interest is the huge beer bottle cap collection he affixed to the surface of the table before pouring the resin. Don’t limit yourself to bottle caps however. We’ve seen the same process done with shells, stone chips, and other things you wouldn’t traditionally make the surface of a table or bar out of, it but thanks to the surface-leveling power of the resin, almost anything semi-flat works. Check out the full tutorial at the link below, including tips on how to work with tables that don’t have a natural edge or lip to contain the resin mixture. Have a cool DIY project of your own? Let’s hear about it in the comments, preferably with some pictures! Make a Bottle-Cap Table with a Poured Resin…
