> opinions as possible from it users and allow readers to filter the content
> they wish to read on the basis of the reviewers they think they are
> similarly alined with.
Wikis are excellent for gathering information on subjects where there is a *single* "right" answer, such as an address, opening/closing times, and an unopinionated description of a product, or in this case, a travel destination and related things to do.
Where wikis end and reviews sites begin is when there are *many* "right" answers. For example, if I'm 18 and backpacking in Europe on a shoestring, why should I want to read a hotel recommendation left by a 60 year old with an $500/day budget?

> A community based travel guide should aim to gather as many<br

The CTFANY Summer farm tour this year will be at the same farm showcasing their changes. They primarily grow Fraser, Douglas, and Concolor Firs, also Norway, Serbian and Blue spruces and a few exotics. Larry & Martha Stokoe have been growing trees for over 20 years and in the last 10 years have added a Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Fest. They have now turned the reigns over to daughter Suzanne Stokoe, but are still very much involved."

“Ten years ago, the NCTA (National Christmas Tree Association) biennial convention was in Rochester, NY and one of the farm tours was at Stokoe Farms in Scottsville, approximately 13 miles south of the city.
