A Guide to Debt Cancellation
January 6, 2009 by Stacy42
What is debt cancellation? Debt cancellation is the way of getting your outstanding debts under control and then avoiding getting into debt in the future. If you are in debt now then you should know that it is really going to destroy your future, in several ways.
For one your credit rating will be ruined, and it is very difficult and time consuming to get your credit back to a decent level. Of course the best method is to never get into debt in the first place, but since this is basically unavoidable in some cases, the important issue here in this moment is how to get out of debt.
Budget
One of the most important things that people need to be doing with their financial resources is to have a budget. Otherwise you are simply bringing money to your table and sending it out, without any idea where your money is going and clueless to how much better it could be being used.
Most people do not realize that they are somehow putting more money out towards bills and other causes then they are bringing in, and although you may wonder how this can be, there are actually many forms, credit cards being one of the most common.
Nine out of ten persons have at least one credit card, and most of these people are at least a few hundred dollars in debt with their card.
Pay Off Your Bills
This is a must, and not a choice. You have to pay off your bills if you want to have complete debt cancellation, and you need to prioritize your bills before you start paying anything off. Credit cards need to be first, because they will affect your credit status most negatively and because they have high interest rates which you are going to end up having to pay off as well.
You want to make sure that your housing bills are in your control next, including your food, rent, hydro, pets, telephone and cable bills.
If you need assistance with debt elimination, remember that there are many people and institutions available that will be able to help you out here with the debt elimination.
No matter how deep in the debt problem you are right now, complete debt elimination is possible, although it is going to take some time, effort and patience on your part. By keeping these tips and helpful advice in mind you will have the best chances of not only getting out of the debt you are in now but staying out of debt forever.

Get the cheapest computer you can.

Hi Tony.
Now I can only speak from personal experience and I do not claim to be an expert on finances. What I've learned is that it's important to look at how you get into debt and learn from your mistakes; however, not all debt is the result of a mistake. Somethings are out of our control. For me personally this is how I got into and am still in debt . I made unwise decisions with department store cards while I was in college. With the lack of universal health care in America, I did not have health insurance for a while and could not afford to pay the hospital bills, but I refused to not go to the hospital. My husband did not work for a period of time and I was the sole provider for our family. My husband also abused our finances, which put us further in debt. I am now a single parent, with two children, more bills and only one income. Even though I am more than willing to pay my bills, there is no money to pay them all.
In addition to paying your tithes and offerings, you also have to use wisdom when it comes to getting out of debt and that includes creating and being deligent in following a budet. I have not yet blogged about budgetting and the debt cancellation part, but I will soon.
I can't and won't try to rationalize things, especially when it comes to paying your tithes and offerings. It doesn't seem rational when you put things down on paper and look at the numbers. God is not rational and He will tell you to do things that are just not logical or seem to make sense. What you have to remember is that God tells us to do things not for us to understand, but to build our faith and do awesome things through us. All I know is that I don't need God to explain things to me. I would rather send time with my family than to spend time trying to figure out why God wants me to do this or that. All I care about is pleasing Him and that means being obedient with my tithes and offerings. I also pray that He gives me wisdom and puts me around people who will give me sound advise and guidance on how to get out and stay out of debt. But first things first – pay your tithes and sow your offerings. Be blessed.
